“Movies aren’t just entertainment, they’re a lens through which we view the world, reflect on society, and engage in deeper thought.” This philosophy inspired Moviola, the centerpiece of my BFA thesis at the University of Tehran, which earned an A+ score.

Key Features

A database connecting professional critics’ reviews with audience opinions to foster a culture of critical thinking.

Visual identity rooted in minimalism, combined with traditional Iranian aesthetics.

A logo with clean, balanced lines and hidden creative elements that symbolize simplicity and insight.

The design approach focused on minimalism to make messages clear and accessible, enhanced by a touch of Iranian elegance to reflect cultural depth. The logo embodies simplicity and creativity, balancing positive and negative space for a subtle yet impactful visual.

The project extended into a digital platform, designed to encourage participation in interactive webinars, explore film critiques, and celebrate cinematic art together. This valuable project was about crafting a community space where conversations about cinema could thrive.

Through Moviola, I honed my ability to merge cultural elements with contemporary design principles. I learned how to create a cohesive visual identity that resonates with diverse audiences and delivers a powerful message: cinema is more than entertainment; it’s a tool for collective reflection and artistic growth.
